AUSTRAC - AML/CTF ACT

Non-compliant reporting entities encouraged to lodge compliance reports.

The deadline for reporting entities to lodge their 2009 AML/CTF compliance report to AUSTRAC passed on 31 March 2010.

AUSTRAC is reminding reporting entities that failed to submit a compliance report that they are still required to, and must do so immediately as part of their obligations under the AML/CTF Act.

Civil penalties can be applied to a reporting entity that fails to submit a compliance report to AUSTRAC.
